I’m in Dawson Creek for work and have come here 2 out of the 3 nights I’ve been here so far (the third night we went to Mr. Mikes for something different and whole heartedly regretted it). My coworker and I were very happy to show up while they still had happy hour going (I was very thrilled that their Happy Hour goes to 6pm so that we still had time to get there after work), and we have enjoyed their wings and their stuffed Yorkshire pudding. Both were very good! Our second night there my coworker went for the 20oz prime rib, and though he couldn’t finish it, he did say that it was absolutely fantastic, even cold the next day. I had the Fixx Burger and that was so so good I was actually disappointed that I couldn’t finish it! I love the ambiance of this restaurant. It’s casual but elegant and classy at the same time! And though I’m very sad to say I don’t recall the name of our first server and she was very nice and prompt with service, I do want to give a shout out to (and I hope I’m not mangling the spelling here) Siobhan, who was our waitress the second night. She was absolutely fantastic, joked with us and made us laugh and she was so easy going despite our pickiness with our drinks. It was such a joy to have her serving us and I very much hope that we have the opportunity to be served by her again! The pricing is on the higher side of average for what you’d pay for the same thing elsewhere, but given our other experience in Dawson Creek which basically price gouged us for sub-par food, I’d say this place is absolutely worth the price and I look forward to returning. ***Follow up : My coworker and I returned the next night to try something different. More delicious food, and I just want to give a shout out to our host, Saul (hope I spelled that right) and our server, Reese. They were further examples to what great staff Fixx employs and it makes me happy to return here night after night during my work trips to the area knowing that I’ll have the opportunity to be served by such attentive and engaging staff.

Was visiting Dawson for an event and got hungry after so we went to this place. It is attached to a hotel. From the outside it looks like a typical restaurant but as soon as you walk inside you could reel the ambience right away. It was a nice dimlit kind of restaurant which is really nice. It has nice ambient lighting. We were greeted by the male host who seated us right away. The place wasnt packed and was closing in an hour when we got in. I knew i wanted the jambalaya as i have googled it beforehand. My friend got the blackened chicken alfredo. We also ordered the calamari as an appetizer and we each got a glass of house white wine. We were served a red wine but that was corrected right away by our lovely filipina server with a long hair. After that, we got the calamari almost instantly. Honestly we didnt like how the calamari tasted, it tasted weird for us. Then a few minutes later, we got our mains. I enjoyed my jambalaya as it the spice level was adjusted to my preference. The alfredo however fell kind of short. It was mediocre and the pasta itself was dry. The chicken was a little bland as well. It was a little bit disappointing given that the place isnt cheap. Overall, i would still recommend this place for its ambience but maybe just as a lounge given the experience we had with our food.

This steakhouse is located across from Pomeroy Hotel. Just a quick stroll across the parking lot. We were in town for the night and decided to pop in for dinner. Glad we did. This is a nice and spacious restaurant. We were quickly seated at a quaint little two seater booth and after looking through the drinks we decided on Sangrias. Red) sooo juicy and delicious. Highly recommend this a first. We then moved on to a large Caesar salad. Let me just say that until now I thought a Caesar was just a Caesar. This place does it right with fresh parm and croutons, bacon, lemon. The dressing was nice and just salty enough and lingered nicely on the tastebuds. We both ordered the ribeye with mushrooms, Demi glaze, veg etc… this was a nice steak. At 10 oz I wasn’t sure that the cook would be able to char it the way I like it and still keep enough pink in the middle but he or she executed the doneness to perfection. Well done! We will be back. Highly recommend this steakhouse

We had been on the road for a week camping and wanted a good sit down meal. Thought we would give Fixx a try. So glad we did. Had a good old fashioned to start things along with their version of potato skins which were fantastic. The prime rib was great as was the beef dip sandwich. The schnitzel was also good. Service was great as well. Highly recommend.

Well the food was surprisingly good. Service was top notch. Very nice set up. Quite and elegant. I was under the impression by reading other reviews reservations were required. However I had no issues getting a seat. Jambalaya was excellent. Very impressed with everything. I will definitely be back.
